The Right To Complain

I first heard this from a history teacher in the eight grade, "if you don't vote you don't have the right to complain", she of course was wrong and I knew it. The U.S. Constitution applies equally to everyone; and the founding fathers intended that every American citizen has the right to as much involvement, or to as little involvement in the political process as they choose. And whichever they choose--they still have the right to dissent, to complain or to otherwise state their opinions--this is the American way!
