Barack Obama Skeet Shooter Extraordinaire--Not!

Barack Obama has recently claimed he is a skeet shooter--this of course is another one of his many lies; Barack Obama is not a skeet shooter--and he doesn't shoot all the time--Barack Obama is by his own words a gun banner, a gun hater--and a liar!

And whether Barack Obama shoots or not--is irrelevant--what is relevant is that Barack Obama has a stated record and intention and a voting record--of banning guns

Barack Obama hates God given human liberty--he rejects the reality of each human being as a sovereign, with God given, constitutionally ensured human rights; one of which is--the right to keep and bear arms and to defend oneself, ones family and ones property with deadly force if necessary, at all times and places whether at home, at work or anywhere else!

Here is some of Barack Obama's anti-gun record:

September 9, 1996
Barack Obama supports Ban on Manufacture, Sale & Possession of Handguns.

In 1996, State Senator Barack Obama answered a questionnaire and stated that he supported a complete ban on semi-automatic firearms, [inaccurately referred to as assault weapons] supported mandatory waiting periods, and supported a complete ban on the manufacture and sale of handguns. [Claims by Senator Barack Obama that a staffer filed out the form were proven false.] Those same objectives were supported by State Senator Barack Obama in a 1998 political awareness test. During a 2004 debate for the US Senate seat, Barack Obama mocked his opponent for not supporting a ban on "assault weapons" which he said had only one purpose, to kill people."

[The firearms Barack Obama wants to ban, including the AR-15 among many others is a commonly owned rifle used for hunting, target shooting and self defense!]

January 1, 1998
Barack Obama was a board member on the Chicago based Joyce foundation [a Marxist organization] which funded at least nine grants totaling nearly $2.7 million to groups that advocated the opposite positions as those of pro second amendment organizations. The Joyce foundation also funded a legal scholarship advancing the theory that the second amendment does not protect individual gun owners rights and funded two groups that advocated handgun bans.

July 2, 1998
Barack Obama endorses a ban on sale or transfer of all semi-automatic guns.

Ban semi-automatic guns, with more restrictions on possession.

Ban the sale or transfer of all forms of semi-automatic firearms.

Increase state restrictions on the purchase and possession of firearms.

Require manufacturers to provide child-safety locks with firearms.

December 13, 1999
Barack Obama as a state legislator proposed banning gun stores within 5 miles of schools and parks.

Barack Obama wanted to completely ban gun stores.

December 13, 1999
Barack Obama supports a five hundred percent tax increase on guns and ammunition. [This was to significantly reduce the purchase and use of firearms, which he and his confederates could not ban and confiscate!]

December 13, 1999
Barack Obama supports ban on resale of police issued firearms.
[It would make no difference whether a person bought a used police firearm or a non police used firearm.]

January 1, 2000
Barack Obama co-sponsors a bill to limit firearm purchases to one gun a month.

Barack Obama also voted against allowing people to violate local gun bans in cases of self-defense!

And reaffirmed his support for the District of Columbia’s handgun ban that was overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court in 2008. He also called it a “scandal” that President George W. Bush did not authorize a renewal of the failed and unconstitutional Clinton semi-automatic rifle and magazine ban.

February 20, 2001
Barack Obama said, "No reason why anybody should need an assault weapon." [The second amendment is not a bill of needs!]

July 5, 2001
Barack Obama stated on July 5, 2001, in the Chicago Defender: "I'll continue to be in favor of handgun law registration requirements and licensing requirements for training."

Provides for an affirmative defense to a violation for peace officers, correctional institution employees and officers, members of the Armed Services and Reserve Forces of the United States, and the Illinois National Guard while these persons are in the performance of their duties. Establishes penalties for violations.

March 25, 2004
Barack Obama votes Against Lowering FOID Card Age From 21 to 18.

Illinois Senate, March 25, 2004, SB 2163, vote 18.

Effective immediately.

April 27, 2004
Barack Obama said, he continues to oppose concealed carry.

"I didn't find that [vote] surprising. I mean, I am consistently on record and will continue to be on record as opposing concealed carry," Obama said. "This was a narrow exception in an exceptional circumstance where a retired police officer might find himself vulnerable as a consequence of the work he had previously done--and had been trained extensively in the proper use of firearms." [The reality is most police are not trained extensively in the use of firearms--and many non police have extensive training!]

October 21, 2004
Barack Obama said, "It's a scandal Bush Didn't Renew Assault Weapons Ban". [It is a scandal that Barack Obama voted multiple times to murder unborn children--he even voted to murder those who had been born!]

July 29, 2005
Barack Obama votes against prohibiting lawsuits against gun manufacturers.

A bill to prohibit civil liability actions from being brought or continued against manufacturers, distributors, dealers, or importers of firearms or ammunition for damages, injunctive or other relief resulting from the misuse of their products by others.

July 30, 2005
Barack Obama votes to ban common rifle ammunition.

Barack Obama voted against a 2005 law prohibiting frivolous lawsuits against gun manufacturers stemming from acts committed by others using their products. Calls for permanently reinstating the failed Clinton "assault weapons" ban.

Barack Obama voted for 2005 amendment that would ban almost all rifle ammunition, if it can be used in a handgun and is capable of penetrating soft body armor typically worn by law enforcement.

Since all rifle ammunition will pierce soft armor worn by law enforcement, this amendment would have effectively banned all rifle ammunition used by hunters and target shooters.

January 31, 2006

Barack Obama votes against Samuel Alito for Supreme Court justice.

Barack Obama has said he would not have nominated Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court. It was Justice Scalia who wrote the majority opinion in D.C. v. Heller, which declared that the Second Amendment protects an individual’s right to keep and bear arms, and that D.C.’s handgun ban is unconstitutional. Justice Thomas joined in that opinion. As a member of the U.S. Senate Barack Obama also voted against confirming Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito, both of whom joined Justice Scalia’s majority opinion in Heller.

October 17, 2006
Barack Obama said, "I believe in keeping guns out of our inner cities."

April 22, 2007
Barack Obama said, he favors a ban on standard capacity ammunition magazines.

[Standard capacity magazines being anywhere from six to forty plus rounds, depending upon the gun.]

"The second area which may be fought by the NRA, but I think has to be looked at is the availability of 19-round clips.  I’m a strong believer  in the rights of hunters and sportsmen to have firearms.  I’m a believer in homeowners having a firearms to protect their home and their family.  It’s hard for me to find a rationale for a 19-clip semi-automatic.  I said at a forum earlier this week, ‘If you need 19 rounds to shoot a deer, you probably shouldn't be hunting’ and so that I think is something that we should be able to have a reasonable conversation about."

[Here Barack Obama reasons from self protection to hunting deer--one has nothing to do with the other--as many rounds are often needed to stop violent aggression, whereas few are typically needed for deer hunting, but in some hunting situations many rounds are needed!]

February 15, 2008
Barack Obama said, Micro-stamping is A "Common-Sense Law."

November 13, 2008
Barack Obama eliminates gun owners from his White House staff.

Barack Obama’s transition team is showing its hostility toward lawful firearm owners by “weeding out” job applicants who own firearms themselves. [Obama Czars are exempt from this.]

The Illinois State Rifle Association (ISRA) notes that question fifty nine part of a sixty three item questionnaire given to Obama administration job applicants--asks for information about firearms owned by the applicant and his or her family.

December 1, 2008

December 1, 2008

February 25, 2009
Eric Holder [Attorney General] said, Obama to Seek New Assault Weapons Ban.

The Obama administration will seek to reinstate the assault weapons ban that expired in 2004 during the Bush administration, Eric Holder, "As President Obama indicated during the campaign, there are just a few gun-related changes that we would like to make, and among them would be to re-institute the ban on the sale of assault weapons". [By a few he means completely banning all private ownership of guns!]

During his confirmation hearing, Eric Holder told the Senate Judiciary Committee about other gun control measures the Obama administration may consider.

"I think closing the gun show loophole, the banning of cop-killer bullets and I also think that making the assault weapons ban permanent, would be something that would be permitted under Heller," Holder said, referring to the Supreme Court ruling in Washington, D.C. v. Heller, which asserted the Second Amendment as an individual's right to own a weapon. [There are no cop killer bullets--it is a made up term by those who want to ban guns and ammunition!] [There is no "gun show loophole"--all of the same laws apply to gun purchases at gun shows.] [Also there were no assault weapons listed in the Clinton gun ban--but rather guns were banned based upon appearance rather than function.]

April 16, 2009

Cass Sunstein is a radical animal rights activist.

[As much as Cass Sunstein is for so called animal rights--he is against God given human rights, including human life--this is why Barack Obama chose him!]

Sunstein delivered a keynote speech at Harvard University’s 2007 “Facing Animals” conference and said, “We ought to ban hunting, I suggest, if there isn’t a purpose other than sport and fun. That should be against the law. It’s time now.”

May 26, 2009

October 14, 2009
Barack Obama reversed policy and said he would back talks on a treaty to regulate arms sales as long as the talks operated by consensus, a stance critics said gave every nation a veto.

The decision announced in a statement released by the U.S. State Department, overturns the position of former President George W. Bush's administration, which had opposed such a treaty on the grounds that national controls were better.

May 10, 2010
Barack Obama nominates anti-gun Elena Kagan for Supreme Court justice.

Barack Obama poses a real and present danger to the Second Amendment, and he’s working to pack the Supreme Court with justices who will undermine Americans’ gun rights.

Elena Kagan, ran much of President Bill Clinton’s war on guns from 1995 to 1999!

Barack Obama says, AK-47s Belong Only In the Hands of Soldiers.

[Which by extension means he wants to ban many commonly owned and used firearms in America--e.g., the AR-15 and the AK-47.]

August 6, 2012
Barack Obama affirms support for renewing semi-automatic rifle and magazine size ban.

Press conference question, His position [Barack Obama] in the past has been in favor of renewing the assault weapons ban, which would, at this point, be a new law.  He also said in New Orleans that "AK-47s belong on the battlefield", not on the streets.  Does he still support that legislation?

J CARNEY,  "He does!"  "And I’ve said that before from the podium in the last week, that he does support renewing the assault weapons ban."

October 16, 2012
Barack Obama calls for reintroduction of semi-automatic firearm ban.

Barack Obama said, "And so what I’m trying to do is to get a broader conversation about how do we reduce the violence generally. Part of it is seeing if we can get an assault weapons ban reintroduced." [Banning firearms and limiting their use by the law abiding populace--does not reduce crime, but rather it leads to increased crime; and it leaves the people defenseless against a lawless government!]

December 30, 2012
Barack Obama hopes to enact new unconstitutional gun-control measures in 2013 and throughout the remainder of his [hopefully] last term.

Shall not be infringed!

Addendum: In an effort to cover for his lie about being a man who shoots all the time--Barack Obama posed for a photo holding a Browning Citori shotgun with a ported barrel.
